... A PASSION THAT GOES ON

My passion for dogs has started in 1997 when I met the Golden Retriever by means of Nixen dei Casolari, my first bitch. With her I followed the training courses organized by the Retrievers Club Italiano. Still with her I entered the show milieu, an alluring world that, before long, made me adopt another puppy, that would become the founder of my breeding family. Her name is Justdoit, and her first litter was born under her breeders' affix "Dreamylake". From this litter two puppies stayed with us: a bitch named Dreamylake Kritisbaytoroche, always judged  excellent in youth class in international and national dog exhibitions and club shows, and  the male dog Dreamylake Khiosshelltoroche, the first apple of my eye, who got the title of Giovane promessa ENCI at only 12 months of age. Best Youngster in club and specialty shows, runner up club show champion 2001/2002, then international champion, excellent in field trials and competing for his sixth and last ticket to become Italian champion.

From the next litter, the first bred by me in person (Justdoit x Plurichampion Beeangee Jumping Jack Flash), not less than four issues, 3 bitches and 1 dog, are campaigning all over Italy with excellent qualifications, among which Midnight Memories's title of Giovane Promessa ENCI. The result of her offspring entitled Justdoit to become Campione Riproduttore.

Meantime, also the descendants of Nixen dei Casolari are getting honours in the ring with excellent results.

An important goal for our new born kennel was reached when the affix "Granroche" was granted us by FCI-ENCI.

The breeding activity goes forth with three targets:

-selecting healthy dogs by always mating subjects officially checked for hip & elbow displasia and eye genetic deseases that may affect the breed Golden Retriever.

-maintaining the natural attitudes of the breed and the correct typical temperament that makes a dog balanced and fit for working performances and also to

become a member of a family as a pet .

-selecting according to the breed standard as much as possible

from a morphological point of view.
